Aboyne Bonfire & Fireworks Night
31st October – 5.30 pm
Aboyne Green
Aboyne’s annual Bonfire & Fireworks Night is a free, ticketless community event run by a small voluntary committee, supported by local businesses, volunteers, Aberdeenshire Council and AJC Homes. The event only continues thanks to the generosity of public donations, which cover the fireworks, insurance, equipment and costs for next year’s display.
This year the event falls on Halloween, so guisers are encouraged to come dressed up. Marshals around The Green will be ready for tricks or treats — find them for a chance of a sweet treat before the fireworks begin.
Timings:
Fun starts at 5.30pm
Bonfire lit at 6.00pm
Fireworks at 7.30pm
Important:
⚠️ SCAM WARNING — DO NOT BUY TICKETS
This is a ticketless event. Any “tickets” being sold online or elsewhere are fraudulent.
Extras:
Music • Ice Cream • Burgers • Sweets
Donation Info:
If you’d like to support the event, donations can be made via the GoFundMe page (link below) or on the night to bucket collectors.
