In the summer months Banchory & Stonehaven Athletics Club attracts members from age 9 to their dedicated field and track facility at Alexander Park, Banchory.

While Aboyne has a pitch on the Green, Rugby is played as a Deeside-wide club at the pitch and clubhouse at Woodend Playing Fields, Banchory.

Castle Woods parkrun takes place at 09:30 Saturday. The start is on the Deeside Way c300m west of the Victory Hall.

Upper Deeside Amateur Swimming Club use the pool in the Community Centre with a varied programme of training sessions throughout the week.

Aboyne Tennis Club celebrates its centenary in 2026. The club has four floodlight courts beside the Victory Hall and encourages junior and adult social tennis for newer and more experienced players alike.
